Job Description
- The focus of this sales position is building a pipeline of new opportunities.
- Develop short-term and long-term sales strategy.
- Prospect potential clients through calls, emails and social channels.
- Initiate and drive customer meetings.
- Be comfortable engaging with the C suite, law firms and investment banks.
- Support marketing efforts with attending conferences, exhibits and other in person events.
- Manage proposals, contract negotiations and partner with management team to finalize contracts.
- Monitor projects in conjunction with production regarding specifications, costs, and timeframes as projects progress.
- Take ownership of problem resolution if customer issues cannot be solved through normal channels.
- Conduct regular status meetings with the customers.
- Manage all calls, meetings, emails and opportunities through Salesforce.com
- Achieve sales targets.
Skills and Experience required for this role
- 3 to 5 years’ experience selling and servicing public companies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Hard work, enthusiasm and a curiosity for learning.
- Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
- Thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in computer and technology skills.
- A team player
- Understanding of capital markets, IPO, M&A, Investment Management.
